Intermission – Beginnings

I’ve been a bit busy, which is not a good excuse, but it’s also true. That means certain things get put on the back-burner. I should probably try to keep up blogging here with thoughts and ideas, particularly if I want to slowly reorient this blog toward my artwork with a few cultural things on the side.

If you’re not that patient, you can follow me on Instagram or Facebook. I do keep those up much more regularly!

So, for those interested, I got a new job! Which is one of the reasons I’ve been busy. I’ll write about that more another time, mostly once I’ve digested my duties more thoroughly, but for now here is a nice view from the university I’m teaching at.

I friggin’ love the view. But then again, I’m a sucker for green mountains and overlapping buildings.

You can see the Korean President’s house from here!

Testing my vocal chords

Recently, one of my friends and former coworkers asked me to sing at her wedding. So I did! Why anyone would want to ruin a perfectly good wedding with my crooning, I’ll never know, but I enjoy singing, so I couldn’t turn it down.

I often forget how much weight I’ve gained… until I look at myself in photos

I sang Jonathan Coulton’s song, “I’m Your Moon”. Because JoCo is great. Here’s the song, along with an ASL translation to go along with it.

While I’ve been doing those things, I’ve also been working on various projects… at different rates. I’ll post about those tomorrow. I hope.

Until then…

I’m watching you.
